We love quality!

At Hand and Hide we craft our leather goods entirely in our Portland Oregon studio. Jeff (our founder) discovered a passion for leather craft while traveling in North Africa, a passion that has transformed into what is now Hand and Hide. We are a small team of 4 dedicated craftspeople all with different backgrounds, but with a common goal of providing the best possible leather goods to our customers. Our products reflect our belief that functional objects should be pleasing to hold and to behold.

We are proud to be a part of the resurgence in American craft that is bringing consumers and makers closer together. We embrace modern technology while paying homage to leathercraft traditions that are centuries old. Our products are precisely cut using digital patterns and then entirely crafted by hand. They are hand-stitched - no sewing machines involved. This attention to detail pervades everything we do, from our in-house product design to our photography, marketing and shipping. We stand behind all of our products and offer a lifetime guarantee.
