Overnight Bag
A more recent project led to the creation of this website. I wanted to make a high quality, rugged, overnight bag that also looked great. I was so pleased with the results that I decided I should come up with a brand name for it. Much deliberation led me to Nomad and the footprint logo. I thought of many ways to put this logo on the bag, but the only logical way seemed to be to brand it onto the leather. After some research, I concluded that I would have to make my own brand. A couple of aluminum blocks, a dremel tool, a steady hand and lots of patience were required, but the results speak for themselves. The Nomad "brand" was born.
This bag is also completely hand-stitched and lined with pigskin. Additionally, all stress points have nylon webbing sandwiched inside for extra strength. As I was constructing the bag, I kept asking myself "how can I make this bag so it lasts the rest of my life?"
